for the few who are interested, ive slowly started playing around with music again. different equipment these days, so its like starting from scratch, and i am too busy to really do it right. if you're curious what sort of 'music' ill eventually settle on, here are clips of a few semi-random project files. not songs, perse, but sounds born of my experiments. honestly, though, id rather spend my time doing simpler sweeter downtempo tracks (less aggressive rhythm). but- i need to find an alto with a silky voice first, and i havent the faintest idea how to go about that. all in good time, one hopes.

and before you click anything- most of these clips are useless without strong bass and strong treble. find yourself a pair of headphones or a real stereo or it will sound far junkier than it really is.

more heavy rhythm
heavily overdriven rhythm

Unbeknownst to most, i dabbled in electronic music in high school. it wasnt a phase. i still love it dearly, but i got frustrated when my computer couldnt keep up with the type of music i wanted to make, and i went on a semi-permanent hiatus- to be continued when i am old and rich and don't live in a car.

i never recorded my music. they were all stored as part MIDI, part audio, and needed my synth to play back. following, find the couple random songs that actually got recorded. they still arent perfect, but thats all i got right now. when i listened to them recently, i figured i could do a lot better right now with the same equipment, but it will have to wait. anyways, they're here, so that the couple high school folk who asked to hear them again can find them. i'm not promising much.

crux.mp3. commissioned for Jesus Christ Superstar in high school. it was choreographed as a dance for the crucifixion scene, complete with powerful sound system, slinky modern dancers, and red mood lighting.. it has a *long* lead in (like, three minutes), so be patient, or fast-forward. 05:26.
