Trad climbing is a good thing, but placing pro is a chore. I used to use a tied sling of 1" webbing to rack my gear on. I hated it, and this is the upgrade. Padded, organized, and equipped with a metal buckle (that I machined from 6061) it is strong as heck, adjustable to fit over winter gear for alpine climbs, and very very comfortable.
