Its nice to be back in Bishop again. It is sort of like coming home - if your mom started charging you for staying in your room and you had to move around from the couch to the hall closet to the back porch... Yes, they are charging to camp in the pit now, 2$ per vehicle, unless you have no vehicle, in which case it is 2$. Not too much, but still annoying, not to mention all you get is a pit toilet and a dumpster. In any case, the rock is still great, and after the usual few days of feeling completely weak, I started to send some new problems. I spent more time up at the buttermilks this trip. Partly because the camping up there is still free for now, and partly because it is later in the year and a little warmer (even though the conditions seem about 3 weeks behind where they were last year). I also had more problems left up there after last year.
No trip to Bishop would be complete without a soak in one of the local hot springs, and of course I kept up the tradition (and it helped keep me from getting too funky). I also did some sport climbing in the gorge, but the bouldering was the main event. Rest days were spent at the library and Looney Bean coffee shop among other places.
I guess I don't have too much to say, so I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
Erick and Nicole managed to get some photos of me climbing, which is always nice, as I rarely get photos of me on stuff. These 2 on the hulk were taken by Nicole.
