Monolithic Bag

This bag might seem a little small to be labeled 'monolithic'. The name comes from the innovative monolithic front panel. Notice that the zipper opening is against the wearer's back, not out towards the world. This provides a monolithic face which although aesthetically nifty, also functions well. Better waterproofing (as the zippers are not exposed), broken or unzipping zippers don't spill books all over the place, and prying hands can't sneak into your bag in crowded airports. This bag is low volume, and holds a few books or some cycling gear flush against your back. The shoulder straps are designed to be very adjustable, but not on the fly. The doublebacked tri-glide stops the straps from loosening themselves at times when it is inconvenient to adjust them, like when barrelling down a hill on a fixed gear bike. But do the zippers poke you in the back, you say? Nope. Not a bit. The zipper pulls would, but they are recessed into a padded hood. The inside is bright orange for a pleasant surprise and visibility, with a mesh pocket, velcro patch for a modular pocket, and a keyclip. The outside has a fat reflective stripe on the back, and some on the shoulder straps. Wouldn't it be nice if it weren't all black? I think so.
