Roxy is a beautiful machine. She is the only bike I've spent real money on, and I think she turned out alright. Rox is fixed gear, the way bikes should be (If you don't know what fixed gear is, you don't know what you're missing). She is a tricked out Surly cross frame, with avid cantis, sexy shimano levers, a 48-16 gear for good speed around New Haven, and a cross lever on the front brake. I run both rear and front despite the drivetrain, because having both brakes means I can be that much more confident doing my favorite thing- aggressive biking in ornery city traffic. I love cruising around town, hammering hills, and meditative trackstands at the lights. This bike is a joy to ride.
